We've been getting this question a lot- so let it be known; CR is still here. We're individually putting in a lot of work you can't see- well, some of it you can, such as on 206Proof (Seattle's Hiphop Forum) and it's sister sites Raindrop Hustla (Seattle's OG Rap Blog) and Reign City (Seattle's Urban Arts Calendar). We're living real lives just like you of course, and widening our horizons...Tiles is about to go sit on a plane for an ungodly amount of time while he trots the globe like Kane from Kung Fu. Gats is getting it the fucc "n" with his other projects They Live and Nite Owls, among his BS writing and other things. J is in an intense self-improvement regimen, honing his mind & body to a razor's edge, transforming himself into a one-man killing machine.
But music wise? We're recharging the old batteries, living, and writing songs for our next project. Expect a lot of collaboration from the town's finest, expect a lot of heat. Expect to once again see why we're your favorite local rapper's favorite local rappers...LOL

Waddup folks! I've been trying to find some old CR shit per request of some of y'all...and I came across this guy.
Madpassion Vol.1 : Lockdown was a mixtape that featured CR and Mista Ock, as we were both down with Madpassion Records @ the time (so was my dude Phil, known today to y'all as Phil In The Blank). Shout out to Matt "D" Wong and our longtime collaborator (and genius fucking producer) Manat Mcleod, now of the dope Seattle band Man Plus. Also featured is Key from Central Intelligence and Cheena Finesse from Vancouver's Fly Antics crew. Oh, and shout out to Kraneum, and the OG Big Rob too- I see you homie.
If memory serves, this came out in 2003 and made zero noise (painful LOL). It was all mixed by DJ R-Sin and I think you mufuckas will dig it.
So yeah. You can get it here.
PS- If you leave some comments to the tune of "I like this old shit from the vaults", I might keep it up.
